The Bellagio Center Residency Program offers individuals an opportunity to unlock their creativity and advance groundbreaking work through an up to 4-week stay at the Bellagio Center on Lake Como, Italy. The program fosters cross-cultural and interdisciplinary exchange among residents to solve some of the world's most pressing challenges.
Eligibility Criteria
•Open to scholars, artists, thought leaders, policymakers, and practitioners from all disciplines.
•Applicants must demonstrate a track record of significant achievement in their respective fields.
•Proposed projects should align with The Rockefeller Foundation's mission to promote the well-being of humanity, particularly focusing on climate, health, food, energy, or economic equity.
•Open to international applicants from any country.
•Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
Financial Benefits
•Fully funded room and board for the duration of the residency (up to 4 weeks) at the Bellagio Center in Italy.
•Private studio space for work and project development.
•Travel assistance/grants may be available for participants, particularly those from low
-and middle-income countries, who demonstrate financial need.
•Meals and accommodations are provided at no cost to the resident.
