The ECOSOC Youth Forum is an annual event convened by the President of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). It provides a global platform for young leaders to engage in dialogue with Member States, policymakers, and other stakeholders on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The 2026 forum will focus on youth-driven solutions and perspectives to accelerate the achievement of the SDGs.
Eligibility Criteria
•Must be a youth leader, advocate, or representative of a youth-led organization, National Youth Council, or similar entity
•Typically aimed at youth aged between 15 and 30 years old
•Demonstrated engagement in sustainable development, youth empowerment, and the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
•Nomination or endorsement by a relevant organization, UN entity, or Major Group for Children and Youth (MGCY) is usually required
