Details

The Master in International and Development Economics (MIDE) at HTW Berlin is an 18-month programme designed for students from developing and transitional countries. It focuses on development economics, international trade, and finance. The programme is supported by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) EPOS scheme, which provides fully-funded scholarships to eligible candidates. Self-funded applicants may have different application deadlines and procedures via uni-assist.

Eligibility Criteria

A first university degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) with at least 180 ECTS credits, preferably in Economics, Business Administration, or related social sciences
Proof of English language proficiency (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent)
For DAAD EPOS Scholarship applicants: At least two years of relevant professional experience gained after the completion of the first university degree
For DAAD EPOS Scholarship applicants: Must be a national of an eligible developing country (according to the OECD DAC list)
