The ScottishPower Master's Scholarship, supported by the Iberdrola Foundation, aims to train a new generation of professionals capable of driving the energy transition. The program supports postgraduate studies in fields related to renewable energy, environmental protection, and smart grids at top UK universities. Scholars also gain access to industry networking and potential career opportunities within the Iberdrola group.

Eligibility Criteria

Must hold a Bachelor's degree or be in the final year of a Bachelor's degree program.
Must be applying for a Master's program in fields related to renewable energy, sustainable energy systems, environment, climate change, engineering, smart grids, or data science.
Must plan to study at one of the participating UK universities (e.g., University of Edinburgh, University of Glasgow, University of Strathclyde, Imperial College London, etc.).
Must possess a strong academic record and excellent English language proficiency.
Must not be in receipt of other financial support that conflicts with the terms of this scholarship.

Financial Benefits

Full payment of university tuition and enrollment fees.
A monthly living stipend (historically around £1,200 per month or £14,400 per year) to cover living expenses.
Mentoring from an experienced ScottishPower/Iberdrola professional.
Opportunities for industry networking and potential future employment within the company.
