Eligibility
•Open to incoming first-year and transfer undergraduate applicants to Clark University
•Demonstrated high academic achievement, leadership qualities, and extracurricular engagement
•For the Presidential Scholarship: candidates must have an academic record placing them at the top of the applicant pool and must submit a supplemental essay
•Both domestic and international applicants are eligible for consideration
•Must enroll full-time and maintain satisfactory academic progress and required cumulative GPA for renewal
Details
Clark University offers several generous merit-based scholarships to recognize outstanding incoming undergraduate students. Most merit scholarships are evaluated and awarded automatically based on the student's application for admission, without requiring a separate scholarship application. The most prestigious award, the Presidential Scholarship, requires an additional essay and application submitted via the applicant portal. All merit awards are renewable for up to four years (eight semesters) of continuous undergraduate study provided academic renewal requirements are met.
Financial Benefits
•Presidential Scholarship: Covers full tuition, on-campus room, and board for all four years
•Richard Traina Scholarship: $20,000 to $25,000 per year ($80,000 to $100,000 over four years)
•Robert Goddard Scholarship: $15,000 to $19,000 per year ($60,000 to $76,000 over four years)
•Jonas Clark Scholarship: $10,000 to $14,000 per year ($40,000 to $56,000 over four years)
•Renewable for up to four years of full-time undergraduate study
