The GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize is an annual competition designed to recognize and support young African entrepreneurs in the agrifood sector. It aims to inspire young people to build innovative, sustainable, and scalable businesses that improve food security and create jobs across the continent.
Eligibility Criteria
•Must be aged 18-35 on the day of the application deadline
•Must be a citizen of an African country
•Must be the founder or co-founder of the enterprise
•The enterprise must be legally registered in an African country
•The enterprise must be headquartered in an African country
•The enterprise must be designed to be financially sustainable, either as a for-profit business or a non-profit generating some revenue
•Must play a leadership role in the agrifood sector
Financial Benefits
•Two Grand Prizes of $50,000 each (one for a male and one for a female founder)
•Invitation to attend the Africa Food Systems Forum (AGRF) Summit
