The Rhodes Scholarship is a fully funded, full-time, postgraduate award which enables talented young people from around the world to study at the University of Oxford. The West Africa constituency offers scholarships each year to outstanding students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a commitment to making a positive difference in the world.
Eligibility Criteria
•Citizenship: You must be a citizen of one of the following countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, the island of Saint Helena, Senegal, Sierra Leone, São Tomé and Principe, and Togo.
•Age: You must meet either the standard age criteria (aged 18-23 on 1st October of the year of application) or the older age criteria (under 27 years of age if you completed your first undergraduate degree later).
•Academic achievement: You must have completed (or will have completed by the time you enroll) an undergraduate degree with a First Class Honours or equivalent.
•English Language: You must meet the University of Oxford's standard or higher level English language requirements.
