The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Rwanda (UR) aims to prepare academically talented yet economically disadvantaged young people to become transformative leaders in their communities and across Africa. The scholarship covers comprehensive academic, financial, social, and professional support throughout the duration of study.
Eligibility Criteria
•Must meet the academic admission requirements of the University of Rwanda
•Must demonstrate financial need or come from an economically disadvantaged background
•Must display strong academic performance and leadership potential
•Priority is given to female applicants, refugees, displaced youth, and young people living with disabilities
•Must demonstrate a commitment to giving back to the community and driving positive social change
