The Chamberlain Lab at the University of Georgia is seeking a M.S. student to assist with research focused on wild turkey ecology. The project will evaluate female reproductive ecology and poult survival in response to forest management. The selected candidate will be expected to start in January 2025. The position is located in Athens, GA.

Eligibility Criteria

B.S. degree in wildlife ecology, biology, or related field
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Valid driver's license
Experience with radio-telemetry, vegetation sampling, and capturing wild turkeys is preferred
Ability to work long hours in adverse weather conditions
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
