The Ashinaga Internship Program provides students and recent graduates from around the world with the opportunity to gain professional experience in a leading international NGO. Interns support the Ashinaga Africa Initiative, which provides higher education opportunities to orphaned students from across sub-Saharan Africa. The program offers positions in various fields, including translation, marketing, student support, and professional development. Internships can be completed either in-person at Ashinaga's offices in Tokyo or Kyoto, or remotely, depending on the specific cohort and role requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

Must be a current university student or have graduated within the last three years
Passionate about Ashinaga's mission and the Ashinaga Africa Initiative
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Proficiency in Japanese, French, or Portuguese is highly desirable for certain roles
Available to work full-time for a minimum of 8 weeks
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Adaptable and willing to work in a multicultural environment
