The Department of Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management at Texas A&M University (or affiliated institution posting on the RWFM Job Board) is seeking a qualified Graduate Research Assistant (M.S. or Ph.D. level) to conduct research on wildlife spatial ecology, movement, and habitat association.
The selected candidate will work closely with faculty advisors and agency partners to collect field data, process spatial datasets, perform statistical analyses, and publish results in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Eligibility Criteria

B.S. or M.S. degree in Wildlife Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources, Forestry, Biology, Spatial Sciences, or a closely related field
Strong interest in quantitative methods, spatial ecology, wildlife population dynamics, and field sampling techniques
Competitive GPA and GRE scores (if applicable per university requirements)
Proficiency or willingness to learn R programming, GIS software, and statistical modeling
Valid driver's license and ability to work in remote outdoor field conditions
