Eligibility
•Citizen of a World Bank Group member country
•Born on or after October 1, 1993 (or 32 years of age or younger)
•Hold a master's or doctoral degree in a relevant specialty (including Economics, Finance, International Relations, Social Sciences, Engineering, Urban Planning, Agriculture, or related fields)
•Demonstrate at least 3 years of relevant professional experience or continued study at the doctoral level
•Fluency in English (proficiency in one or more other official languages of the WBG—Arabic, Chinese, French, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish—is an advantage)
•Passion for international development and demonstrated leadership potential

The World Bank Group Young Professionals Program (WBG YPP) is a prestigious leadership development initiative designed for outstanding young professionals to launch a global development career.
Selected candidates join a two-year leadership development program covering positions across the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA). Young Professionals engage in intensive operational assignments, leadership development curricula, coaching, and mentorship to solve complex development challenges in emerging markets.
