Eligibility
•Must qualify for Home fee status in the UK
•Have completed or be on track to complete an undergraduate degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a closely related quantitative field with a First or Upper Second-class honours (2:1) or international equivalent
•Intend to pursue an eligible postgraduate course (Master's or PhD) in the mathematical sciences at a Martingale partner university
•Demonstrate exceptional mathematical capability and academic excellence
•Face financial or socio-economic barriers that would hinder or prevent the pursuit of postgraduate study
•Commitment to participating fully in the Martingale development programme, mentoring, and community activities
Details
The Martingale Foundation aims to find and nurture the next generation of STEM leaders by funding postgraduate degrees in the mathematical sciences at top universities across the UK. Scholars receive comprehensive financial and professional support, allowing them to pursue advanced Master's and PhD studies without financial constraints. In addition to academic study, scholars benefit from tailored leadership development, tailored coaching, and an active community of peers and alumni.
